Valve unveils new Steam controller

Valve has unveiled a new version of the Steam controller. The new controller is dropping the planned touchscreen panel and will stick to standard face buttons. The new controller has trackpads. It two diamond arrays of face buttons. The buttons on the left serve as a directional D-pad. The play and pause buttons are visible on the peripheral and it has a Home button that will take users to the Steam platform. The controller was designed to work with all of the games on the Steam storefront. The Valve Steam controller will appear at the Game Developers Conference next week.
