Dropbox announces Project Harmony
Dropbox has announced a new service called Dropbox for Business today. Dropbox gives users the ability to switch between personal files and business files. Users can access both Dropboxes from any device. This gives admins more visibility and control of company data.
There is a remote wipe service to protect confidential information in case there are layoffs. There is also account transfer to maintain business continuity and audit log sharing.
Dropbox is also launching a new feature later this year called Project Harmony. This will let users see who is editing a file and it lets you have a conversation with other editors. You can keep copies in sync throughout the process.
