Freelancer Ltd (FLN) acquires Warrior Forum for $3.2 million

Freelancer Ltd (ASX:FLN), the parent company of Freelancer.com, went public last fall and has a market value of around $545 million today. Freelancer.com has acquired
Warrior Forum, an online forum that is used by over 700,000 affiliate and digital marketers. Freelancer.com said when it was going public that it would use the funds from going public for organic growth and acquisitions. Over 7.2 million postings were placed on the forum since it was founded in 1997.

 

Warrior Forum will be run as an independent website following the acquisition, but Freelancer.com will provide resources and a dedicated team for providing further development.

Freelancer.com was founded in 2009 and has acquired several companies including vWorker/RentACoder (tech freelance jobs website), Scriptlance (IT marketplace), and Zlecenia.przez.net (Polish freelance website).
