Tesla Motors Inc (NASDAQ:TSLA) has announced that its 100th Supercharger station is now open — the location was at Hamilton Township, New Jersey, which is east of the state capital of Trenton and less than 40 miles northeast of Philadelphia. The new Supercharger station is located at the Hamilton Market Place mall, right off of Interstate 195 and a few miles from interchanges with both the New Jersey Turnpike and Interstate 195.

The Supercharger station has six charging stalls and will be open 24 hours a day. This is the first Supercharger located in New Jersey. The state of New Jersey under Governor Chris Christie decided to bar Tesla’s direct-sales model. The 100th Supercharger station is the 86th station to go live in the United States.

Tesla Motors has six stations in Norway, four stations in Germany, two in the Netherlands, one in Austria, and one in Switzerland. At 10AM on Thursday morning, there will be a ribbon-cutting ceremony with “Tesla corporate staff” attending. Model S owners in the area are invited to attend.
