Aviso receives $8 million in funding
Aviso, a Big Data company, has received $8 million in Series A funding. Aviso helps businesses better handle on the prediction and managing of revenue streams. Aviso was founded by K.V. Rao and Andrew Abrahams and worked with early customers like RingCentral, Saba Software, and FireEye.
Aviso uses data generated by companies on its spreadsheets and its estimates. Aviso also pulls in data from outside markets to improve financial projections.
This round of funding was provided by Shasta Ventures, Cowboy Ventures, First Round Capital and Bloomberg Beta, Subrah Iyar, Roger Sippl, Dave Hersh, and Ron Gill.
