Optimizely raises $57 million in Series B funding

Optimizely is a service that helps you improve conversions through A/B testing, split testing, and multivariate testing. Optimizely has a goal of optimizing and personalizing every connected experience on wearables and retail stores.

Optimizely has raised $57 million in Series B funding and has around 7,000 customers, including 5% of the top 10,000 websites. Optimizely handled 7 billion web experiences and created over 500,000 experiments.

This new round of funding was provided by Andreessen Horowitz, Benchmark Capital, and Bain Capital Ventures. Optimizely launched in 2010 and worked on President Obama’s first presidential campaign. Optimizely raised a total of $88 million so far and has around 175 employees.
