Apple Inc. (AAPL) is restricting retail employee time off in September
Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) is expected to start selling the new iPhone in September and is reportedly restricting retail employee time off for the month already. Apple retail employees in Germany have been restricted from taking vacation days in September, according to iFun.de.
The new iPhone is expected to have a larger screen, thinner design, two new sizes: 4.7″ & 5.5″, and a faster A8 CPU. In the past several years, Apple blocked employee vacation dates just weeks before a new product is launched. Apple decided to launch new iPhone models in the fall every year since the iPhone 4S was released in October 2011. The iPhone 5 and iPhone 5s/iPhone 5c was launched in September 2012 and September 2013, respectively.
Apple is also expected to launch iOS 8 at the Worldwide Developers Conference on June 2. New iPads may be announced in October. Apple CEO Tim Cook said that new product categories will also be launched this year, which could be the rumored ‘iWatch.’ This will be a very busy fall for Apple, that is for sure.
