Sumo Logic brings in $30 million in funding
Sumo Logic is a cloud-based log management and data analytics startup that has raised $30 million in funding led by Sequoia Capital and has raised a total of $80.5 million. Existing investors that participated in this round include Greylock Partners, Sutter Hill Ventures, and Accel Partners. Sumo Logic offers analysis of log data across apps, servers, and networking tools regardless of whether it is is a public, private, or hybrid cloud.
The company helps administrators track log data in real time. Sumo Logic’s LogReduce sorting system uses machine learning to filter log file data, according to VentureBeat. Customers can prevent issues before they become major problems.
Sumo Logic launched integrations with Amazon Web Services, Akamai, and ServiceNow over the last year. Sumo Logic provides customers additional accessibility and functionality across those services. Sumo Logic launched its services in February 2012.
