Apple has made an agreement to lease a seven-building campus in Sunnyvale, California, which is near where it is building the new “spaceship” headquarters. The new campus is known as “Sunnyvale Crossing” and has around 290,000 square feet of office space. This space can hold up to about 1,450 workers.

Sunnyvale Crossing was recently renovated by Lane Partners, a local real estate company.

It is unknown what kind of employees will be working at the leased campus.

This past November, Apple received final approval for its 2.8 million square foot headquarters that is being built in Cupertino, California. The new campus is expected to be completed in the middle of 2016.
