Box launches nonprofit service called Box.org

Cloud storage company Box is launching a new service targeted at nonprofits called
Box.org. Box.org will offer free and discounted licenses to nonprofit organizations.

 

Box’s services will be free to organizations that have 10 or fewer employees. Employees with more than 10 will get a 50% discount. The special pricing will be available to any organization officially designated as a 501(c)(3) (or equivalent) nonprofit.

Some of the nonprofits that are already using Box include Kiva, Change.org, Teach for America and Operation Hope.
