Watch Dogs passes 4 million in first week sales
Ubisoft announced today that Watch Dogs has sold over 4 million copies in its first week of sales. This makes Watch Dogs the fastest-selling game that Ubisoft has released.
“With such strong sales momentum and positive feedback from gamers, Watch Dogs has positioned itself as the must-have game of the moment,” stated Tony Key, Ubisoft’s senior VP of sales and marketing. “We’re really proud of this achievement, and are confident that the Watch Dogs brand has a promising future.”
Watch Dogs is an open-world action-adventure video game that was released for Windows, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One. The game takes place in a fictionalized version of Chicago where the story follows a hacker that is investigating the accidental death of his niece. The open world includes the city, countryside, and slums.
