Visier has raised $25.5 million in Series C funding led by Adams Street Partners, which is a platform that provides workforce analytics and planning solutions in the cloud. Existing investors in this round include Foundation Capital and Summit Partners. Of the $25.5 million, $24 million was from investors and $1.5 million was from friends and family.

Visier more than tripled its revenue and growth in 2013 and it will likely triple again in 2014. Visier plans to use the funding to broaden adoption of its Applied Big Data solutions within the Human Resources (HR) market and for penetrating new growth areas.

“Visier is at the front of a major shift in how people use data in their organizations. We founded Visier to reinvent analytics, and provide leaders enterprise-wide with a more efficient, cost effective, and intuitive way to gain insights into and make decisions about their business,” stated John Schwarz, Founder and CEO of Visier. “With this additional capital, we will go deeper and broader with our mission: enable business professionals to access data, visualize information, and make fact-based, strategic decisions — without any costly infrastructure investments or highly specialized technical skillsets.”

Visier has now raised a total of $49.5 million. Organizations can use Visier to leverage data from unlimited sources to predict how workforce behaviors will change and use this insight to create, analyze, and collaborate on plans to optimize the workforce. Visier processes data 250,000 times faster than traditional business intelligence technology.
