Adobe Systems Incorporated (ADBE) upgrades Creative Cloud, launches new hardware: Adobe Ink and Adobe Slide

Adobe Systems Incorporated (NASDAQ:ADBE) continues to pursue its focus as a mobile first service and has overhauled its Creative Cloud desktop applications. All 14 of the desktop applications in the Creative Cloud suite has been upgraded.

Adobe is also introducing a new Creative SDK library for mobile developers along with five new mobile apps and two new hardware device for designing graphics on the iPad.

The 5 new mobile apps on the iPhone are:

1.) Adobe Sketch – Adobe Sketch offers digital tools such as a graphite pencil and pen for precision drawing. It also has a social element so users can share their work.

2.) Adobe Line – Adobe Line is a drawing app for the iPad that will give users the ability to put together creative ideas that starts on paper and transfers to wireframes.

3.) Adobe Photoshop Mix – Photoshop Mix is a version of Photoshop for the iPad. Users can edit PSD images and work on projects from the cloud.

4.) Adobe Lightroom for iPhone – Adobe Lightroom for iPhone lets you edit, organize and enhance your photos on your iPad.

5.) Adobe Creative Cloud – The Creative Cloud for iPad and iPhone lets you access the Creative Cloud on iOS devices.

Adobe’s new hardware is Adobe Ink and Adobe Slide. Adobe Ink is a three-sided digital stylus for iPads that run on iOS 7. It has finer precision for controlled drawing. The stylus is fine-tipped and pressure-sensitive.

Adobe Slide is a companion to Ink, which is a ruler that enables precision sketching such as straight lines and perfect circles. Slide works on iPads that run on iOS 7.
