Cyberthreat security company Onapsis raises $9.5 million
Onapsis is a cyberthreat security company that has raised $9.5 million in funding led by .406 Ventures. Onapsis currently has 100 clients, including government agencies.
Founded in Buenos Aires in 2009, Onapsis moved to Cambridge in 2012. The company now has 60 employees and is growing rapidly. Onapsis’s preventative security software runs on platforms that run SAP.
Onapsis can detect and prevent malware breaches and hacks. Some of its customers include Westinghouse, Deloitte, the U.S. Army, and Siemens.

Onapsis will be using the funding to enhance its product line and expand international sales.
