CloudPhysics raises $15 million in funding
CloudPhysics is a startup that developers software for tracking the health of clusters of servers in the data centers of companies. CloudPhysics has raised $15 million in funding to expand its user base.
Founded in 2011, CloudPhysics provides analytics for data center operators that divides their servers into virtual machines and maintain them with VMware’s popular vSphere software.
There are thousands of people that have used CloudPhysics’ software since it became available to everyone last summer. Hundreds of customers have signed up since then. Some of CloudPhysics’ customers include Sanofi, Zettagrid, and North Shore Financial Group.
This round of funding was led by Jafco Ventures. Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers and Mayfield Fund also participated in this round. CloudPhysics has raised a total of $27.5 million in funding.
