Kevin Rose decides not to bulldoze house after petition to save the property
Kevin Rose, the founder of Digg.com and a partner of Google Ventures, has decided not to bulldoze the five-bedroom house in Oregon after neighbors protested.
Rose paid $1.3 million for the 1890s house in Portland. After it was revealed that Rose was going to demolish the five-bedroom house and build a new one on the site, neighbors launched a petition to save the property.
Rose is also going to sell the house to Tom and Jennifer Saunders, who are long-time residents of the neighborhood. The sale is expected to be completed tomorrow for a price of $1.375 million.
