North Korea is threatening war if “The Interview” hits theaters
North Korea is threatening war if the movie “The Interview” hits theaters. The movie, which stars Seth Rogen and James Franco, is about journalists that are plotting to kill Kim-Jong Un while undercover as journalists.
The movie led to multiple threats made against the U.S. government and filmmakers. A North Korean foreign ministry spokesperson said that the U.S. would be releasing an “act of war” and promised “merciless” retaliation.
The spokesperson said that “making and releasing a movie on a plot to hurt our top-level leadership is the most blatant act of terrorism and war and will absolutely not be tolerated.” The threats definitely gives a lot of publicity to the movie.
