General Electric has announced a $15 connected LED light bulb that is controlled by the Wink app. The connected Link lightbulb is controlled by the Wink app (iOS and Android) from Quirky.

The app can switch the lights on and off from anywhere. The app can schedule times and control the brightness. A Wink hub will be available July 7th for more control of connect devices, including the Aros smart air conditioner.

The Link bulb is available in three versions: a 60-watt replacement LED bulb for lamps, an LED indoor flood lamp, and an LED brighter indoor/outdoor flood lamp.

The $15 price is for the LED bulb for lamps, but it is unknown what the other two lights will cost. On Monday, the lights will be available for pre-order. It will be available in Home Depot stores this fall.
