Twitter has announced that it has acquired mobile advertising company TapCommerce. TapCommerce offers mobile ad buying for multiple exchanges and offers mobile retargeting of users. The value of the deal is believed to be worth around $100 million, according to Re/Code.

“Together with the TapCommerce team, Twitter will be able to offer mobile app marketers more robust capabilities for app re-engagement, tools and managed service solutions for real-time programmatic buying, and better measurement capabilities,” said Twitter VP of global online sales Richard Alfonsi.
