Turn On Automatic App Updates On iOS 7

Updated October 9, 2013

How do I set up automatic app updates on iOS 7?

Answer:

One of the best features built into iOS 7 is the ability to have apps update themselves as they become available.  Setting it up is a cinch too.

Go to the Settings app and scroll down to the section that says iTunes & App Store.  From there, scroll down to the Automatic Downloads section.

You will notice three sliders that says Music, Apps, and Updates.  Make sure to select the Updates.

Whenever your device connects to a WiFi connection, it will download the updates, but you can also have it update over a cellular connection by toggling that option.
