3M Announces MP160 and MP180 Pocket Projectors
3M Company (NYSE:MMM) has announced two new pocket-sized projectors. The MP160 and the MP180 pocket projectors have 30 lumens of brightness and built-in stereo speakers. Both are capable of projecting 800×600 pixels. The internal battery have 2 hours of single battery charge. The MP160 ships with VGA and composite video cables. The MP180 has WiFi, Bluetooth, 4GB capacity, microSD expansion, a touchscren, and USB port. The MP160 sells for $350 and the MP180 sells for $400. Both will be available in early October. [UberGizmo]

3M Shows Monitor Powered By USB 3.0 Ports
Minnesota based electronics company 3M Company (NYSE:MMM) put a new monitor technology on display. This monitor is being powered by USB 3.0. This means the monitor gets the display signal from USB 3.0 and is also being powered by it at the same time.
