Al Jazeera is an independent broadcaster owned by the state of Qatar through the Qatar Media Corporation. Al Jazeera has acquired Current TV. The acquisition boosts their reach to around 40 million homes. Current TV is focused on U.S. news. and was co-founded by former United States Vice President Al Gore.

WATCH: Mexican Woman Interrupts Reporter

When Al Jazeera’s reporter Lee Wellings was reporting how Mexico beat Brazil to win an Olympic football (soccer) tournament, he was interrupted by a woman placing a poncho and flag on him. I’m impressed by the fact that his concentration did not break. This video has hit over 58,000 views since being published 3 days ago. Check out the video below:
