Verizon has given permission from the FCC to sell a $2.35 billion wireless spectrum license sale to AT&T. Verizon is selling the assets as a condition for regulatory approval of for their purchase of Alltel this past January.

AllTel announced earlier this week that they will be selling the HTC Snap. AllTel joins T-Mobile, Sprint, and Verizon (AllTel’s parent company) who have been selling the device for a little while now. The cost of the HTC Snap on AllTel is $79.99 with a one year contract and $70 mail in rebate. The Snap runs on Windows Mobile 6.1 and has a full QWERTY keyboard. The Snap has EV-DO Rev. A support, Bluetooth, 2 megapixel camera, and world-roaming capabilities.

The LG Banter is very similar to the Rumor 2 phone, but what makes the Banter special is the price. The Banter will cost $19.99 when signing a contract after rebate with Alltel. That is about $30 less than what Sprint is selling the phone for. Some of the Banter features include a full QWERTY keyboard, a number keypad, Bluetooth, 16GB microSD cards, QVGA resolution, 1.3 megapixel camera, and a talk time of 5.5 hours.
