SwiftKey X, a virtual keyboard app for Android phones, is free in Amazon’s Appstore today. Engadget calls SwiftKey X “probably the best virtual keyboard you can get for Android.” The keyboard allows for customization of its theme, multiple keyboard layout options and provides both predictive and corrective text that learns as you use the program.

Amazon.com, Inc. (NASDAQ:AMZN) has recently reported their first quarter 2011 financial information. They posted $9.86 billion in revenues for the first quarter, which puts them up 38% during the same quarter last year. But Amazon.com’s net income has decreased 33% to $201 million for the first quarter. During the same quarter last year, Amazon.com reported a net income of $299 million.

You can visit the Amazon Appstore at amazon.com/appstore. Android device owners can download the Amazon Appstore interface on to their handset.

Rovio’s upcoming gameAngry Birds Rio will be exclusive on the Amazon Appstore. The Amazon Appstore has games available for download on the Android mobile operating system. Rio is an upcoming 3D computer-animated film from 20th Century Fox and Blue Sky Studios. Characters in the movie are being voiced by Jesse Eisenberg, Anne Hathaway, Jamie Foxx, Tracy Morgan, George Lopez, Leslie Mann, Jemaine Clement, Jane Lynch, and Robin Thicke.
