At the end of March, Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) filed a lawsuit against Amazon.com, Inc. (NASDAQ:AMZN). Amazon.com’s mobile application is called Amazon.com Appstore and Apple’s mobile application store is called “App Store.” Apple filed the complaint against Amazon.com on March 18. Amazon said that the phrase “app store” is generic and nothing something that Apple should have for exclusive use.
