Amazon.com To Sell Over 8 Million Kindles This Year [REPORT]

Amazon.com, Inc. (NASDAQ:AMZN) is expecting to sell over 8 million Kindle devices this year according to a source with Bloomberg. This number exceeds company expectations. Amazon.com To Refund Or Replace Kindle Covers That Are Causing Problems

The metals hooks on the Kindle Leather Cover sold by Amazon.com, Inc. (NASDAQ:AMZN) conduct electricity and is causing problems for the Kindle devices. Amazon.com To Launch E-Book Lending For Kindle

Amazon.com, Inc. (NASDAQ:AMZN) will allow Kindle owners to loan e-books to each other soon. In a note to readers, Amazon.com said “later this year, we will be introducing lending for Kindle, a new feature that lets you loan your Kindle books to other Kindle device or Kindle app users. Each book can be lent once for a loan period of 14-days and the lender cannot read the book during the loan period. Additionally, not all e-books will be lendable – this is solely up to the publisher or rights holder, who determines which titles are enabled for lending.” [mediabistro]
