This is perfect timing for people that want to give this as a Christmas gift. The free two-day shipping is available for the $79 Kindle, $99 Kindle Touch, $149 Kindle Touch 3G, and $199 Kindle Fire. Currently Amazon.com is shipping over 1 million units per week. Amazon.com, Inc. (NASDAQ:AMZN) shoppers have been buying over 1 million Kindle devices per week for about three weeks in a row. The Amazon.com Kindle Fire is the company’s best selling item as of right now. The Amazon.com, Inc. (NASDAQ:AMZN) Kindle Fire has been highly criticized despite all of the sales that it has been getting. LivingSocial Raises $176 Million In Private Offering

LivingSocial has raised $176 million in a private offering according to an SEC filing. Investors in this round include Amazon.com, U.S. Venture Partners, and Steve Case’s Revolution Ventures. Code Advisors and JP Morgan oversaw the deal and made $5 million in the process. LivingSocial offered $400 million worth of stock and sold a portion of it. About $224 million of stock still available. The final $224 million is expected to be bought in the next several weeks or months. This round of funding will be used for operations and expansion such as setting up a new company headquarters. [BusinessInsider]

Flurry Deals has discounted products that are an extension of Cyber Monday promotions. Starting today, Amazon will start offering category-specific daily deals. Amazon.com To Ship About 5 Million Kindle Fires This Year

Amazon.com, Inc. (NASDAQ:AMZN) has shipped about 3-4 million Kindle Fire tablets according to Netbooknews.com. Suppliers are expecting that shipments will hit up to around 5 million units by the end of December or early January. Amazon Starts Selling Every Smartphone For One Penny Until Monday

Amazon.com, Inc. (NASDAQ:AMZN) CEO and founder Jeff Bezos has become extremely aggressive when it comes to selling smartphones this holiday season. Amazon.com has started selling every non-iPhone smartphone for $0.01. The smartphones cost $0.01 with a 2 year contract. The smartphones that are on sale include the Motorola Droid Razr, the Samsung Galaxy S II, the Epic 4G Touch, the HTC ThunderBolt 4G, the Samsung DROID CHARGE 4G, the BlackBerry Torch 4G, etc.

LivingSocial Expected To Announce $200 Million Investment This Week

This past September, I wrote about how LivingSocial was expected to raise $200 million in funding instead of going the IPO route for now. This week the company is expected to confirm the investment as provided by JP Morgan Asset Management, Amazon.com, and T.Rowe Price. This would put LivingSocial’s valuation at between $5 and $6 billion. LivingSocial is also expected to receive a $100 million revolving credit facility from JP Morgan that would allow them to draw funds without singing for a loan each time. [NYT]

The Amazon.com, Inc. (NASDAQ:AMZN) Kindle Fire has gotten a tear-down by iFixit.com. It turns out that the device is packed with Texas Instruments Incorporated (NYSE:TXN) chips. This is good news for the company since they are facing intense rivalry from Qualcomm and Nvidia.
