Consumers can now order groceries on their phones through AmazonFresh’s mobile app—if they have a Microsoft Windows Phone and live in the Seattle area. The specifics aren’t as surprising as they seem; as GeekWire notes, Seattle is home to a lot of Windows Phones because Seattle is home to more than 40,000 Microsoft employees. Amazon Fresh was launched in Seattle about four years ago, delivering fresh groceries throughout the Seattle Area.
