Sony Announces Slim 250GB PlayStation 3 Bundle On September 25th for $269

At a Tokyo Game Show press event, Sony has announced a slimmed down version of the PlayStation 3.  The new duo of consoles are smaller and will arrive in stocks in black and white versions available in 250GB and 500GB models.  The “charcoal black” option will be available on September 25th for the 250GB bundle (with Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception ”Game of the Year Edition”) and a $269.99 price.  The “classic white” model will arrive on November 22 (starting in Japan).  For those of you that want a 500GB model, it will be available on October 30th in conjunction with Assassin’s Creed III.  Sony Computer Entertainment CEO Andrew House announced the new model and said that it was 50% smaller than the original PS3.  It is also 25% smaller than the previous slimmed-down model.
