Google Inc. (NASDAQ:GOOG) SVP of Mobile Andy Rubin has announced that “there are now over 700,000 Android devices activated every day.” They count each device only once and they do not count re-sold devices. To put that number into further perspective, it means that about 5 million Android devices are being activated per week, 21 million per month, and about 250 million per year. [9to5Google]
