Antoine Dodson was made a YouTube sensation after doing an interview, which was remixed by The Gregory Brothers. From the royalties that Dodson collected, he was able to buy a new house in September 2010. Apparently the remix that The Gregory Brothers made with his interview encouraged him to stay in the music business. Dodson has created a new song with an artist named Lady G called “Gucci Bag.” I’d say the song isn’t bad, but it’s not great either. You can listen to it below:

YouTube superstar Antoine Dodson has been interviewed by George Lopez. Dodson was asked about what life was like after getting so many YouTube hits and after the Gregory Brothers auto-tuned his voice. One of the most interesting things he revealed was the number of song downloads that Bed Intruder had on iTunes. In the interview, he said there was about 250,000 iTunes downloads for Bed Intruder based on the last time he checked. That means that Dodson made close to $87,000 so far just from the sales on iTunes after Apple and The Gregory Brothers took their cut. This is based on Apple taking a 30% cut off the total and The Gregory Brothers taking a 50% cut off that profit Not bad coming from a viral sensation that did not expect anything to come out of his interview. Well… obviously Antoine Dodson makes the perfect spokesperson for the sex offender tracking application. Dodson gained Internet fame after a response he gave to a news channel when a rapist broke into his house. Known as the Bed Intruder video, Dodson’s response has been seen by millions of viewers. Then the Gregory Brothers took that video and remixed it into a song. Dodson received 50% of the profits on iTunes for the song and he was able to move out of the unsafe house he was in before. Check out the video of Dodson pitching the mobile application below and don’t forget to hide yo’ kids!
Antoine Dodson has a Halloween costume to show everyone. Dodson is one of the most wanted costumes of 2010 and he decided to make a promotional video for it. Dodson even suggested replacing “trick or treat” with “hide yo’ kids! Hide yo’ wife!” when knocking on doors on Halloween night. Check out the promo video below [BedIntruderCostume.com]:
