Goldman Sachs has invested $70 million into AppSense, a desktop management company. Pete Perrone at Goldman will be joining the AppSense board of directors. AppSense signed up about 4,000 enterprise and government customers across the world in 2010. Last year the company sold about 1.5 million user licenses.
