BabySafeTravel.com was created out of a negative experience by the mother of an 8 week old baby.  The founder and her baby went on the husband’s business trips and stayed at a hotel chain.  The hotel chain gave the baby a foul smelling bed to sleep in and gave an even worse play-yard.  The hotel even gave the baby a king-sized sheet for the bed which could have been a strangulation hazard.

BabySafeTravel.com has a rating system for hotels based on how equipped they are for baby travel.  On the homepage there is a way to book a hotel, flight, or car rental.  The search options for the hotels, flights, and cars can be filtered further.  For example, hotels can be filtered by Popularity, Price, Star Rating, and Hotel Name.  It doesn’t matter if you want to search for options in the U.S., Australia, Europe, Canada, or any other country.  BabySafeTravel works with all destinations.

BabySafeTravel.com even sells products that are generally needed for travelling with a baby.  Their online store is called the Baby Boutique and there are products such as Travel Potty, an Eddie Bauer Infant Travel Bed, an Eddie Bauer Travel Stroller Blanket, The Urban Advantage Stroller in Cayenne, etc.  A lot of the products in their store are reasonably priced too.

Along with travel search options and a boutique, BabySafeTravel.com also has baby travel tips and a blog where different parents write about their experiences.  The experiences mostly revolve around travelling with a baby.  BabySafeTravel.com is an overall great resource for parents and I highly recommend checking it out if you have a baby and love to travel.
