One example of how the technology is being used is when Dan Hassan, co-CEO of Backchannelmedia clicked on &#8220;OK&#8221; on the remote control and then a link to the news and products is sent to his email.  The service is free.  Television stations across the country are using Backchannelmedia.  Currently the service is in the trial phase.  Below is a video interview with Hassan<br />
