Bradley Horowitz, the VP of Product at Google+ wrote on the company blog that they have created several new features to the social network. The new features include the ability to fine-tune your stream using a slider, a “sneak preview” notification system, and improvements to Pages.

Some Google+ users were upset to find out that their accounts were cancelled because of Google’s name restrictions. Google senior VP of social Vic Gundotra insisted that people used their real names when using the Google+ social network. He compared it to when a restaurant does not allow people in that do not wear shirts.

Google+ is not really a new service, but rather a new facet of Google’s already-existing services. It is social networking in a new but familiar way, with features that make you wonder “why hasn’t anyone else done this yet?” Google hasn’t said much about Google+ yet, which TechCrunch reports is because while what we can see is impressive, what Vic Gundotra and Bradley Horowitz have planned is much bigger.
