Laurene Powell Jobs is the widow of Apple co-founder and CEO Steve Jobs. She controls the Steven P. Jobs Trust, which has a $6.9 billion stake in The Walt Disney Company and she is the co-founder and President of the Board of College Track. In the first time that Laurene Jobs has given an interview ever since Steve Jobs passed away, she decided to advocate immigration reform.
Apple CEO Tim Cook has confirmed that one of the Mac line productions of computers will be moving to the United States in 2013 according to Bloomberg. Cook will be confirming the news on an interview with NBC that will air tonight. Tim Cook said:
Apple CEO Tim Cook has conducted the first TV interview “of its kind” that he has ever granted. The interview was conducted by Brian Williams of NBC. The interview will air on December 6th on NBC’s Rock Center broadcast. Williams spent the day with Cook. Cook was able to walk across Grand Central basically unrecognized. However once Cook arrived at the Apple store, everyone treated him like a “rock star.” Below is a preview clip.
