General Motors Company (NYSE:GM) has announced that the Apple Siri telematics assistant software will be coming to six more Chevrolet vehicles. GM first started to offer Siri in Chevrolet Spark and Sonic models that come equipped with Chevrolet MyLink this past February. Siri will now be added to all 2014 SS and Volt models on the LT and LTD trim levels Camaro, Cruze, Equinox, and Malibu.

General Motors Company is not going to be advertising on CBS during the Super Bowl this Sunday February 3rd. However they will be airing ads during the pre-game programming. GM’s Chevy brand will have four spots during that time according to Chevy marketing VP Chris Perry. Last year General Motors Chief Marketing Officer Joel Ewanick said that they will not be advertising during the Super Bowl because of the high cost. Ewanick was fired in July 2012 after an expensive deal was made with Manchester United.
General Motors brand Chevrolet will be debuting the Spark EV at the L.A. Auto Show at the end of this month. The Chevy Spark EV will be available on the market next year. GM will also demo expanded functionality of the MyLink system at the auto show.
The Chevrolet marketers are aiming to promote the Spark minicar at millennials. Chevy will be doing the same level of marketing as the launch of the 2012 Sonic. Chevrolet VP of global marketing Chris Perry said that the brand will be looking to attack new customers of the 5-door hatchback that started selling July 19th across 18 markets.
