Mark Cuban and Jonathan Kraft Invests In CitySquares.com

CitySquares is a hyper-local search engine that focuses on East coast states.  Mark Cuban (HDNet/Dallas Mavericks owner/Broadcast.com founder) and Jonathan Kraft (The Kraft Group President) have both made an investment in CitySquare.  Below are some CitySquare stats:

- Plans for 16 million business listings by next year
- Currently has 1.5 million business listings
- 1 million monthly unique visitors in September 2008 (Quantcast)

CitySquare will be using the funding to prepare for their national roll-out next month.  CitySquares launched in Boston around 2005.  CitySquares was founded by Ben Saren and Ben Leland.

“We recognize the value of local search and see CitySquares as a dynamic player in that space,” stated Cuban.
