CODA Automotive is a Santa Monica, California based electric car company that has raised $76 million in a new round of venture capital funding. Rumor has it that this round of funding was done while the company is in the middle of management problems. Harbinger Capital Partners and Riverstone Holdings LLC participated in this round of funding.

Santa Monica, California based CODA Automotive has raised $58 million in Series C. The funding was provided by Aeris Capital, EDB Investmentes (EDBI); Countyline LLC, Lex Wexner, Thomas F. Steyer, Mac Heller, Miles Rubin, John Bryson and Angeleno Group. CODA has now raised a total of $125 million. The new round of funding will go towards the market entry of their sedan vehicle.
