CollegeHumor’s Streeter Seidell and Amir Blumenfeld are best known for their Prank Wars on CollegeHumor.com. One of Amir’s first pranks in the Prank War series was by getting Streeter booed off the stage on an open mic night (modified: see comment #1). Since then the two friends have been doing huge pranks against each other.

Below is a press announcement for the show:

The new show for the Thursday night block is Pranked, a 30-minute program that showcases the best pranks ever caught on camera and posted online. Known for their seven part Prank War, which has received over 5 million views online, hosts, College Humor.com’s Streeter Seidell & Amir Blumenfeld, provide commentary during each episode. The internet celebrities bring their humor to television as viewers watch homemade pranks that are engineered, executed and filmed by kids and normal everyday people, with no help from producers, professional editors or cameramen. When it comes to silly humor, MTV curates the best online pranks and couples it with the best comedic commentary.

The CollegeHumor show on MTV has not been getting the best ratings so Streeter wrote on Tumblr:

While we still do not know the fate of our beloved CollegeHumor Show, Amir and I are going to be hosting a new show on MTV.

Below is an example of one of the pranks that Streeter pulled on Amir:

CollegeHumor Acquires Sports Humor Company SportsPickle.com

InterActiveCorp subsidiary CollegeHumor.com was started in 1999 by Jakob Lodwick, Josh Abramson, and Rick Van Veen.  The parent company of CollegeHumor is called Connected Ventures and they also operate BustedTees, Defunker, and Vimeo.

Now they have another company to add to their portfolio: SportsPickle.com.  The design of SportsPickle looks like it was made in the 1990’s and I’m assuming the company wasn’t making much money, thus giving CH a chance to buy it on the cheap.

However SportsPickle has been around for a while (November 2001) and had a book released based on their columns a couple of years ago.  Some of their articles were syndicated on ESPN also.  CollegeHumor will be revamping the whole brand eventually.
