CorrectMyText.com is a website service where you can verify whether what you are writing in a different language is accurate. People that can speak the language that you are writing in natively will verify everything.  As of right now the languages that are supposed on CorrectMyText.com include Russian, English, French, German, Chinese, Japanese, Spanish, Korean, Portuguese, and Italian.

When checking out CorrectMyText.com, you are encouraged to create an account and then copy and then select the text language that you have written an excerpt in.  After that you submit it and it remains in the queue of “Texts for correction.”  After submission and tagging, there will be several processing categories that the excerpt will be associated with: processing, ready corrections, and remains corrections.

When corrections are made, CorrectMyText reports which users helped fix the grammar and spelling of the language conversion.

Who would this service be useful to?  Considering that America is a huge melting pot and many people come from overseas, they may not always have the strongest English.  As a matter of fact, my high school required foreigners to take English as a Second Language (ESL) classes if the school’s administration noticed that they were struggling.

Having good language skills have a direct correlation with how successful one can become career-wise.  And sometimes using language conversion software can be unreliable.  Asking native people to help with conversion is a lot more authentic and reliable.  Even Facebook asked users to help convert the English language of their website into the foreign languages that they offer the social network in today.  It’s a proven system.
