TechStars and Bloomberg TV have partnered to work on a reality show that highlights what it is like to be on the founding team of a start-up. The reality show miniseries is called “TechStars” and it will premier on September 13th at 9PM. About 6 episodes will run through October 18th. Eleven start-ups will be highlighted in this season which includes OnSwipe, Immersive Labs, Veri, ToVieFor, Shelby.tv, RedRover, Nestio, ShuttleCloud, CrowdTwist, FriendsList, and ThinkNear.

San Francisco based cloud database company ObjectLabs has raised $3 million in Series A funding led by Foundry Group, GRP Partners, Baseline Ventures, Freestyle Capital, David Cohen, and a few others. ObjectLabs is best known for launching the database-as-a-service company MongoLab. MongoLab is the database-as-a-service provider for MongoDB. 10gen‘s MongoDB is used by companies like Foursquare, Bit.ly, and Etsy.

This round of funding was led by Point Judith Capital with participation from GSA Venture Partners, Founder Collective, GTI Capital Group, Hugo Enterprises, Rajan Anandan, David Cohen, Dave Tisch, Kal Vepuri, Peter Lehrman, Nihal Mehta and other angel investors. Ignighter allows groups of friends to collaborate on a group profile. The friends can add photos and interests to the group profile.

OneTrueFan is known as the “Foursquare of websites.” OneTrueFan lets you earn badges for checking into and interacting with different websites.
