At the Dell Inc. (NASDAQ:DELL) campus in Round Rock, Texas, two employees were arrested for a bad marketing stunt. The Round Rock SWAT team responded to 911 calls of a suspect inside one of the Round Rock campus buildings on Monday morning. A person dressed as a biker and another person in a skull mask told people to “go to the lobby.” But it turns out that the biker was just promoting one of the Harley-Davidson features supported by the Dell Streak tablet product. It was an in house marketing plan that nobody really knew about. [KXAN]

Dell has announced that they have started to sell an unlocked version of the Streak with Android 2.2. The Dell Streak will work on T-Mobile or other GSM telecomm carriers. The OS upgrade makes multi-touch zooming, Flash, USB tethering, auto-rotating home screen, and 3G hotspot creation available on the tablet computer.

Dell Inc. (NASDAQ:DELL) CEO Michael Dell appeared at the Oracle OpenWorld conference this past week to announce a new 7-inch tablet and said that his company is on track to hit $60 billion in revenues this year. The new tablet appears to run on the Google Android operating system.

Dell Inc. (NASDAQ:DELL) plans to launch the Streak smartphone slash tablet next month for $500. The 5″ WVGA display Android tablet and phone will be available by the end of July. Other features include 5 megapixel camera, WiFi, GPS, 16GB internal memory, 7.2Mbps HSDPA, and a 1GHz Snapdragon processor. [BGR]

The Dell Inc. (NASDAQ:DELL) Streak tablet computer will be available this summer and will run on the Google Android operating system. The device will be launching in the U.K. early next month and will be released in the U.S. and Europe later in the summer.
