Earlier this month Ford Motor Company (NYSE:F) sued Ferrari over trademark infringement. Ferrari settled by naming their 2011 Ferrari Formula Once race car from the F150 to the F150th Italia. Ford wanted Ferrari to stop using F150 on any products in the U.S. and sought $100,000 in damages under the Anticybersquatting consumer Protection Act. [eGMCarTech]

Ford Motor Company (NYSE:F) is suing Ferrari for using the name F-150 for their 2011 Formula One race car. Ford cited trademark infringement and cybersquatting in the lawsuit. The lawsuit was filed in the U.S. District Court in Detroit. Ford said that they registered the F-150 trademark in 1995. They want Ferrari to stop using the F150 name on any products in the U.S. They also wanted $100,000 in damages. [eGMCarTech]
