Go Daddy Patent Shows Interest In Generating and Selling Business Cards With Domain Name Registration

The Go Daddy Group, Inc. has filed for two patents that are related to generating and ordering business cards as domain names are registered. The business cards would be offered in print and/or electronic format. The patents were filed on September 2, 2008 and were published today.

GoDaddy CEO Bob Parson Buys Cher’s House In Hawaii

Above is a picture of a house that Bob Parsons, GoDaddy CEO bought in Hawaii. Parsons bought the property on the main island in Hawaii as part of an auction. Tesla Motors CEO Elon Musk flew his private jet to Washington D.C. over 12 times since last year according to Autospies. Some of these trips were intended to request government public financing. This is ironic because GM, Chrysler, and Ford executives were heavily criticized by members of Congress for doing the same thing. Musk flew in a Dassault Falcon 900 and landed in Washington in mid-June of 2009. Around that time is when Tesla was given a $465 million loan from the DoE. Go Daddy Earns $750 Million In 2009 Revenue

Domain name registration company GoDaddy.com earned $750 million in revenue this past year according to CEO Bob Parsons. Go Daddy started only about 10 years ago and the company did not raise any venture capital thus far. Go Daddy employs about 2,400 people and is actively hiring people. About 1,600 of those 2,400 people work in customer service. The company has roughly 32,000 active reseller accounts and they host over 3.8 million websites.
In terms of domain name registration, Go Daddy has at least one domain name registered every second of the day. GoDaddy has about 33.5 million domains registered. Wild West Domains, its reseller subsidiary has around 3.3 million domains registered.
