After James Holmes shot and killed 12 people while wounding another 58 people this past July in a movie theater in Aurora, Colorado during a premiere of “The Dark Knight Rises,” the entire world read the news in horror. Many of them poured out their support in the form of donations. The families of the victims will split the majority of the $5 million in donations raised to assist the victims of the attack.
In July 2012, James Holmes went on a shooting rampage in a movie theater in Aurora, Colorado. The shooting rampage took place during a screen of the movie “The Dark Knight Rises.” As of yesterday, 14 counts of attempted murder have been added by the prosectors to his charge. Prosecutors amended 5 other counts that have already been brought against him according to USA Today.

Stephen Barton, one of the victims from the Aurora movie theater massacre that was committed by James Holmes, has done a PSA video below. He was one of the 58 people that was injured at the theater and was shot in the face and neck. The police has arrested a man named Christopher Sides for wearing make-up that is similar to the “Joker” character in the Batman series of movies. The arrested was made on Wednesday after calls were made that a man was behaving suspiciously. Christopher Sides, 21, was arrested after he exited the Premier Theatre in Melbourne, Florida. His hair was dyed pink too. Throughout the arrested, he cooperated with the police during and did not make any threats.
Jose Baez is known as being part of the defense team that led Casey Anthony to victory in her murder case. Now Baez’s team has been hired to represent the mother of one of the “Dark Knight Rises” massacre victims according to TMZ. Baez is representing Shirley Wygal. Wygal’s 32-year-old daughter Rebecca Wingo was shot and killed by James Holmes during the “Dark Knight Rises” massacre.
Apparently if you are not on Facebook, you could be a “psychopath” according to a new study. The study was conducted by employers and psychologists. The German magazine Der Taggspiegel even pointed out that movie theater shooter James Holmes and Norwegian mass murderer Anders Behring Breivik share something in common — they both did not have a Facebook account.
