Jay-Z and Kanye West’s “Watch The Throne” was one of the most anticipated hip hop albums of the summer. One of the advantages of launching their album exclusively on iTunes before distributing compact discs was that leaks were prevented. Often times music stamping and compact disc shipping employees hi-jacks the tracks and uploads them to the Internet. Perhaps the leak prevention may encourage other artists to launch exclusively through iTunes now too. Another cause for the decline of the compact disc. When Kanye West interrupted Taylor Swift during the MTV VMAs, it became a viral hit on the Internet. Now that Taylor Swift is hosting SNL, the slapstick comedy show wants to capitalize on the viral buzz. Kanye was called a jackass by President Barack Obama and was made fun of in countless parodies. “Imma let you finish but Beyonce has the greatest video of all time.” Above is a preview video of what can be expected.

In the video below, you will notice that rapper Kanye West interrupts Taylor Swift from giving an acceptance speech for an award at the MTV Video Music Awards. In the middle of Taylor’s speech, Kanye said that Beyonce had one of the best videos of all time and then he got booed off stage.

Since the incident took place, Kanye was one of the most talked about tags on TwitScoop. He thoroughly upset a lot of people. Kanye literally took the microphone away from a 20 year old girl who was accepting her first MTV award.

Kanye probably knows that he made a lot of people upset for doing what he did so he quickly issued an apology on his blog. Above is a screenshot of what he wrote. Some people may have thought this was a hoax, but considering how quickly he issued an apology, I think the interruption was very real. Clearly he’s trying to do some sort of damage control.

Anytime that someone uses all capital letters when writing tweets or a blog post implies that either they are excited, want to shout something out loud, or is angry about something. In this case, Kanye went nuts on his blog. As a result, Twitter deleted a fake Kanye West profile: @kanyewest.

Below is the full message that Kanye wrote on his blog (swear words bleeped out by me):
(This spaz comes courtesy of losers making fake Kanye West Twitter accounts) I DON’T HAVE A F***ING TWITTER… WHY WOULD I USE TWITTER??? I ONLY BLOG 5 PERCENT OF WHAT I’M UP TO IN THE FIRST PLACE. I’M ACTUALLY SLOW DELIVERING CONTENT BECAUSE I’M TOO BUSY ACTUALLY BUSY BEING CREATIVE MOST OF THE TIME AND IF I’M NOT AND I’M JUST LAYING ON A BEACH I WOULDN’T TELL THE WORLD. EVERYTHING THAT TWITTER OFFERS I NEED LESS OF. THE PEOPLE AT TWITTER KNOW I DON’T HAVE A F***ING TWITTER SO FOR THEM TO ALLOW SOMEONE TO POSE AS ME AND ACCUMULATE OVER A MILLION NAMES IS IRRESPONSIBLE AND DECEITFUL TO THERE FAITHFUL USERS. REPEAT… THE HEADS OF TWITTER KNEW I DIDN’T HAVE A TWITTER AND THEY HAVE TO KNOW WHICH ACCOUNTS HAVE HIGH ACTIVITY ON THEM. IT’S A F***ING FARCE AND IT MAKES ME QUESTION WHAT OTHER SO CALLED CELEBRITY TWITTERS ARE ACTUALLY REAL OR FAKE. HEY TWITTER, TAKE THE SO CALLED KANYE WEST TWITTER DOWN NOW …. WHY? … BECAUSE MY CAPS LOCK KEY IS LOUD!!!!!!!!!

Clearly Kanye is not happy about the quality of service at Twitter. Perhaps one of his future songs will diss Twitter. To manage his own blog, Kanye has employed two people to run it.

Kanye West has one of the prominent blogs in the hip hop community. What comes as a surprise is that it is updated multiple times every day. He has been questioned several times about how he has time to manage his career and his blog at the same time. Initially he claimed that everything he does on the blog is his own work, but now Kanye has come clean.

“I might [blog for] two hours in a day, it might be fifteen minutes in a day,” Kanye said in an interview. “I have two people that I hired and I tell them exactly what I want — it’s just like how a designer would work. I tell them, you know, Surface magazine, Wallpaper, Architectural Digest, Hypebeast, Bossip — go to these different blogs and keep on pulling information. And then they send it to me, and I get like 80 e-mails, and I have to check and go through them. And sometimes I’ll have my own stuff where I’ll just be in a cool place, like if I had my camera right now, I’d like photograph this stuff and go home and be really excited to blog it.”

There you have it, folks. Kanye employs a team of other bloggers to make sure that his online presence is maintained.
