It has finally happened, Steve Wozniak has officially been eliminated from Dancing with the Stars. Woz survived about four weeks and performed in dances such as the ChaCha, the quick-step, and the samba. Woz has fractured a foot and a pulled hamstring to make it through the competition. Its been a rough ride.
Former Playboy cover model Holly Madison was also eliminated from the competition.
In the last dance, Wozniak and partner Karina Smirnoff did the Argentine tango. The dance is demonstrated in the below video. I think you’ll enjoy the beginning of the video where he rolls around with a Segway entourage.
Yesterday Steve Wozniak claimed that he was set up by the TV show Dancing With The Stars. Woz said that if he was in the bottom two and would have to compete in a dance-off, it would be “an outright lie.” He believes that having to dance off would help boost ratings.
It turns out that Woz was in the bottom two and won the dance-off. This caused Belinda Carlisle, a former 80’s singer to get kicked off.
Even though Woz’s conspiracy theory ended up happening, he apologized anyway. “Yesterday, I wrote my suspicions of the secret ‘Dancing With The Stars’ audience vote tabulations. I wrote that the producers were liars, simply because I truly believed in that possibility, not because I had a shred of evidence. I hurt a lot of honest people,” stated Woz.
Woz decided to keep dancing even though he fractured his foot. I think he did a great job even though it must have been painful.
Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak was told that he was like a Teletubby going mad at a gay parade when he did his first dancing on “Dancing with the Stars.” And if that wasn’t rough enough, the poor guy just fractured his foot too. This is the same reason why Jewel and Nancy O’Dell stepped down from the show, but this won’t stop him from continuing. Karina Smirnoff, Woz’s dancing partner visited him at the Cedars-Sinai Hospital to find out that he has a removable cast.
Woz’s doctor told him that he can continue on the show as long as he wears the cast as much as he can. Woz vows that his performance next week will be “wild and fast, and all-over and crazy and fun, just like the first one.” With a partner like Smirnoff, I can see why he would want to keep going on.
