Keith Olbermann Joins Al Gore’s Current TV
Keith Olbermann revealed in a phone conference call today that he is joining Al Gore’s Current TV. Olbermann will host an hour-long newscast five nights a week at Current and will be the “Chief News Officer” there. “Nothing is more vital to my concept of a free media than news produced independently of corporate interference,” said Olbermann. Olbermann is also getting Current TV equity out of the deal. [Gawker]

Keith Olbermann Names Twitter The Worst Person In The World
Keith Olbermann of MSNBC reported that Twitter is the “worst person in the world.” Apparently someone created a fake account of Olbermann and was able to fool 14,000 followers. Olbermann signed up for an account last year and then decided against using it. Twitter won’t be suspending the fake account so beware if you are following the fake Olbermann.
