Doodle Jump is one of the most popular iPhone games. It is one of those “lunch” games where it does’t take much time to play a full game. Doodle Jump has hit 10 million downloads between Android and the iPhone. Doodle Jump was created by Lima Sky, a company founded by two brothers in New York City.

App developer company Lima Sky has signed a cross-promotional deal with Universal Pictures. Lima Sky’s game Doodle Jump will promote the computer-animated comedy Hop. And Hop will somehow promote Doodle Jump in the movie.

Doodle Jump, a game on the Apple App Store that was #1 for a very long time has hit over 4 million downloads at a $0.99 price. They did not have a lite free version of a “free for a day” promotion at all according to game co-creator Igor Pusenjak of Lima Sky. The game passed the 3 million mark in March and was released in fall 2009. Lima Sky is also preparing to develop the game on the iPad. [Kotaku]
